Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Eat, Stay, Love mobile application ("App") operated by Eat, Stay, Love ("we", "us", "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate, current information in your profile. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
Post false, misleading, or deceptive profile information
Upload content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or violates another person's rights
Impersonate another person or entity
Spam, solicit, or send unsolicited commercial messages
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the App
Repeatedly no-show at dinner events without cancelling

4. Dinner Events

The App facilitates connections between travelers for shared dining experiences. Important:

Each guest covers their own meal. The App does not process payments for dining.
Hosts set the venue, time, and guest count. Guests are responsible for showing up or cancelling in advance.
We are not a party to any arrangement between hosts and guests. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or outcome of any meetup.
Always meet in public places and exercise personal judgment regarding safety.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, messages, bios). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it within the App. We may remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

6. AI Features

The App uses AI to generate travel itineraries, chat responses, and recommendations. AI-generated content is for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI outputs. Always verify travel information independently.

7. Premium Subscription

Some features require a paid subscription ("Pro"). Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and brand assets are owned by Eat, Stay, Love. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the App will meet your expectations. We are not liable for the actions of other users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eat, Stay, Love shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages related to meetups, travel arrangements, or interactions with other users.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eat, Stay, Love from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
